Since everything is handmade by skilled craftsmen, there might occasionally be a small delay. Thanks for being patient with us if that happens.
Prepaid orders get free delivery.
For COD, there’s a ₹100 fee.
Delhivery
Once your order is placed, the tracking number will be sent to you via email and SMS. You can track your shipment directly through our delivery partner’s portal. While we aim to support you at every stage, any delays caused by the courier service are beyond our control. If you are unreachable and the parcel cannot be delivered, it will be returned to us and we will arrange an alternative delivery.
We offer a 7-day refund policy.

Natural markings on leather, minor colour variations in leather, and slight differences in weave patterns are normal characteristics and not considered defects. Please refer to the
Damage & Defects section for clarity.
We accept returns or exchanges if:
• The item is defective
• The wrong item was delivered
• The item was damaged during shipping
Important: You must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order.
We cannot accept returns for:
• Personal reasons (such as change of mind or style preference)
• Items that have been used, even once
• Items damaged after delivery (scratches, stains, wear, etc.)
• Return requests made more than 7 days after delivery
We take great care to package every product securely. However, if your order arrives damaged during transit, please
follow the steps below:
Step 1: Contact Us Immediately
Please share clear photos of the damaged product within 24 hours of delivery (this window cannot be extended).
Step 2: Return Everything as Received Ensure all original items are included:
• Product in its original condition
• Original box and packaging
• All accessories
• Tags and labels
Step 3: Handle the Product Carefully For leather items, please keep in mind:
• Keep away from water, oils, and sharp objects
• Store flat to avoid creasing
• Do not expose to direct sunlight

Full leather products: 1-year warranty
Our warranty covers manufacturing defects that impact the durability or functionality of your product. In the rare case that a product cannot be repaired, we will replace it with an item of similar value. Please note that natural variations in leather may result in slight differences in color or texture in replacement items.
Our warranty protects against defects in materials and workmanship, including:
Hardware Issues: Broken buckles, rivets, zippers, or other metal components
Stitching Problems: Stitches that unravel due to manufacturing defects
Structural Defects: Separation of leather seams or tears caused by production faults
We will repair covered issues free of charge.
The warranty focuses on functionality and manufacturing defects. It does not cover:
Natural Aging and Patina: Darkening, softening, or development of lustre over time
Surface Marks: Minor scratches, scuffs, or wear that occur with regular use
Spills & Stains: Water, food, or other accidental stains
Improper Use: Overloading, exposure to extreme moisture, heat, chemicals, or harsh cleaning agents
Accidental Damage: Tears, rips, deep scratches, or damages caused by misuse
Proper care ensures your leather products age beautifully:
Store in the breathable cotton dust bag provided, in a cool and dry place away from direct sunlight
Gently wipe off dust with a soft cotton cloth
Avoid contact with oil-based substances, pens, or harsh chemicals
For water-based spills, pat dry immediately with a clean white cloth and allow to air dry
Vegetable-tanned leather naturally develops a patina, which is a mark of authenticity and quality. This change is normal and desirable.
During Warranty: Basswood Leather Company covers all shipping costs for approved repairs or replacements
Post-Warranty: Customers are responsible for shipping charges for any repairs or servicing
Even after your warranty expires, we offer affordable repair and conditioning services to keep your product in excellent condition.
